TIMBER SASH WINDOWS

Box Sashes are the traditional style of window, where a system of weights and pulleys on a piece of sash cord would conterbalance the sash and enable easier movement of the heavy window. The system is housed inside a box, built into the side of each window and hidden from view.

Our traditional sashes come with both spiral balanced or cords and weight mechanisms. The spiral balance is a modern day alternative to the classic box sash window, reproducing the original charm and character of an English sash window with a friction based method of operation. The cords and weights sliding sash window ensures the traditional character and charm of a period building is maintained, whilst incorporating the latest advances in timber window technology.

EVO SASH TIMBER WINDOWS

We have introduced EVO SASH Timber Windows.

Due to the combination of the appearance of a box sash window from the outside and the lower section that opens inwards, we have obtained the lowest U-Value of 0.99 W / m2K.

Using our new EVO SASH Timber Windows, you do not have to worry about external appearance while achieving the best thermal efficiency.

We supply hardwood windows as standard. They are most often classified as HC or heavy commercial windows and can be used for many different applications, including residential, light commercial, commercial, and heavy commercial construction.

When you’re constructing or purchasing window frames where strength and durability are the main concern, hardwoods should be used. There are many different types of hardwoods to choose.

Hardwood window frames provide more than adequate amounts of insulation and are easier to paint and stain to meet your custom colour palette needs.

You can choose hardwood or softwood for your new wooden windows. We provide only high-quality wood which comes from responsible suppliers.

FINISHES

We provide spray paint finish with Teknos 3 Coat Paint Finish system. Between coates each item is left to dry in the drying room with infrared heaters which assist with the drying and bonding process.

Teknos is the best long lasting microporous paint which allows the timber breathe and we are able to provide stains in 12 colours or any of RAL colour.

As a special order we are also able to match any Farrow & Ball, Little Greene or Dulux colour.
