TIMBER CASEMENT WINDOWS
Casement window is the oldest style of window in the UK and the most popular. A window is hinged at the side (unles is a top hung version) and is usually fitted in single or double panels. Casement windows have a plenty of configuration to make different windows from single, double or more panels.
Our flush casement windows have the option of butt hinges and traditional peg stays to replicate the windows traditional character or modern opening mechanisms ensuring ease of use and improved thermal performance.
We also provide the Storm-Proof profile which is often chosen in areas with harsh weather conditions. Opening outwards brings two main advantages – enhanced insulation during strong winds which push the protruding wings against the frame, plus the space around the window can be fully utilised. They can also be complemented with decorative bars to look more traditional.
